Sadie has been teaching and training for nearly 20 years. She holds a PhD in anthropology, with a focus on leadership, from the University of Southern California.  

For eight years, Sadie was the director of training for Coro Southern California, which for more than six decades has trained individuals and groups to work effectively across traditional boundaries to solve our most pressing public issues. At Coro Southern California, Sadie oversaw all programs, program development, training, curriculum development, and adjunct trainers. Sadie trained eight cohorts of the nine month full-time Fellows Program in Public Affairs, four cohorts of the nine month part-time Executive Fellows Program, and oversaw five youth trainers working with high school students. 
 
Sadie has also served on the faculty at the University of Southern California, where for eight years she co-taught a highly selective upper-level leadership course with USC President Emeritus Steven B. Sample and renowned leadership author Warren Bennis.  With Warren Bennis, she also co-taught a leadership seminar for MBA students.  

For four years, she served on the faculty of Hebrew Union College, teaching a graduate level leadership class for master’s students in Jewish nonprofit management.

She is the co-author of Leadership Approaches – Developments – Trends and twice co-authored Harvard University’s Center for Public Leadership National Leadership Index
